🐾 OTERO COUNTY REGISTRATION UPDATE — MAY 12, 2026 🐾
THANK YOU, Otero County!
All available surgery spaces for AnimalVillageNM’s current low-income spay/neuter surgical block were FILLED by our official 11:30AM registration start time today at White Sands Mall in Alamogordo.
Many pet guardians were already waiting before the event officially began, demonstrating the overwhelming need for affordable spay/neuter assistance in our community.
👉 IMPORTANT:
To help secure placement in future surgical funding blocks, we strongly encourage all interested low-income pet guardians to PRE-QUALIFY ONLINE FIRST at AnimalVillageNM.com before attending future registration events.
We are now actively building NEXT MONTH’S WAITING LIST.
Qualified low-income pet guardians may still complete the quick 2-minute pre-qualification form online to help secure earlier placement in the next available surgical block as funding becomes available.
Requirements include:
✔ Current EBT or Medicaid card
✔ Participation in our low-income qualification process
We are deeply grateful for the extraordinary community response and continued support for prevention-focused services that help reduce pet overpopulation, abandonment, and suffering in rural New Mexico.
Please continue supporting our FINAL shoe drive fundraiser ending this month. Every pair of gently used shoes helps fund additional surgeries for pets in need next month.
